THE DREAM

I walk in the boulevard

hand in hand with you.

The smell of the sea

comes from down there.

Just from the bottom

Don’t you hear the waves?

Here is the gate

We’ve to go over.

But it’s closed

and made of steel.

 I turned around

And you’ve disappeared

 overpassing the iron

And also the sea

Had vanished with you!

Had been a stupid dream…

Where the world finished

At the boulevard end

SOGNO

Cammino quel viale

Per mano con te.

Odore di mare

Arriva da giu`.

Laggiu` propio in fondo

Non senti le onde?

Pero` c’e` il cancello

Da oltrepassare

E` chiuso

E` di ferro

Allora mi volto

Ma non ci sei piu`.

Sei oltre quel ferro

E non ‘e` nianche

il mare.

Che stupido sogno...

C’e` un mondo finito

In fondo a quel viale
